Hi, I’m Hilary — the owner and lead planner behind Wonder Weddings and Events.

My love for weddings began at the age of twelve, when my mother brought me as her plus one to a wedding at Casa Loma in Toronto. The moment I stepped inside the castle, I was transported into a dream. Every detail felt intentional and thoughtfully considered — from the garden-clad conservatory ceremony, to the bride’s princess ball gown, to an intimate dinner set in the candlelit library. I was completely captivated, and for the first time, I experienced the true sense of wonder and joy a wedding day can hold.
Many years — and a twenty-year career in hospitality — later, Wonder Weddings and Events was born.

Today, I bring my background in hospitality, planning, design, time management, and a WPIC certification together to help couples imagine and create celebrations that feel personal, meaningful, and seamless. As a COVID bride myself, I understand firsthand how overwhelming the wedding planning process can be, and my greatest priority is easing that stress so you can truly enjoy the experience.
My goal is simple: to allow you to be fully present, celebrate wholeheartedly, and trust that every detail has been thoughtfully handled. I’ll be by your side throughout the planning process, ensuring your wedding day is as unforgettable — and as wonderfully unique — as your love story.
